Is your Winter brutaly cold? Looking for a warm, cozy and flattering coat?
I just finished shopping for my winter coat, to shield me from the Toronto cold. Us “Petite Fashionistas” have to make being warm a priority, because no one looks good or feels fab when they’re freezing. Look for a style that goes in at the waist creating the hourglass shape. It might be tempting to shop in the kids department, but you might end up looking like a little girl all bundled up. Looking for shape in your coat is crucial, because it’s really easy to look overwhelmed in a big puffy coat. I found mine at a Chinese Shopping Mall in Toronto. Look for stores that cater to an asian clientele. When you go off the beaten track you could find great quality, unique designer and without the designer tag. If price isn’t an issue try Andrew Marc, who makes petite coats, that are irresistibly warm and stylish. Also try these common destinations who stock petite coats; Ann Taylor, Liz Claiborne, Burlington Coat Factory, JC Penny and Macy’s.
