A few weeks ago I shared a post about the new face of BCBGMAXAZRIA contest. Little did I know, this inspired fellow petite, Ariana Villegas to enter the contest!

Here is Ariana’s entry:

“I’m 5 feet tall, I don’t have the modelesque figure and my facial bone structure is average. I think I am the face of BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring 2013 because I am not the cookie cutter model. I know, I know — another reality show, another competition. This one’s got my attention though.

NBC’s new reality competition show, “Fashion Star“ premieres tonight with two of my favorite petite celebrities Jessica Simpson (5’3) and Nicole Richie (5’1) on the judging panel.

Fourteen designers will have the chance to show mini collections to both the mentoring judges (Simpson, Richie and John Varvatos) as well as a panel of buyers judges from H&M, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue. Ultimately the buyers have the final vote and the retailer with the highest offer will manufacture the outfit and have it available in stores the morning after the show airs.

Crazy huh! I am at least interested enough to try it out and see what it’s like. Just don’t tell anyone over at Project Runway.
