Dolly Parton – A Petite to LOVE
It’s Christmas break for me and that means lots of movies and family time.
My mom and I just watched 9 to 5 with Dolly Parton, who is an even 5 feet tall.
She is so entertaining and hilarious! If you haven’t watched it (or even if you have) pick it up for a girls night in. It’s a classic feel good chick flick.
And for my fashionistas working 9 to 5 this will make you laugh even harder. Just don’t go getting any ideas, remember it’s just a movie.
I love how Dolly dresses to flatter her figure and show off her tiny waist. When you’re a busty petite it is important to accentuate your natural waist. Otherwise your big bust will make you look large all over.
Dolly always looks much taller then she is because she dresses to elongate her petite frame:
1. One piece figure hugging dresses (she loved the wrap dresses in the 70′s).
2. By accentuating her natural waist.
3. Hemlines are always above the knee.
4. She balances her curvaceous figure with skirts that are fitted and jackets that are fitted at the waist and flare out a bit.
5. Her hair adds inches!
6. I’ve never seen her in flats!
