Advice when shopping for jeans:
Know your size and what fits your body best. It’s key to know what rise, leg cut (boot, straight, flare etc.), the amount of stretch you prefer and wash (colour preference). This helps eliminate trying on a bunch of styles that wont work. Last but definitely not least, try on, try on, try on.

Your fav pair/brand of jeans:
I tend to always lean towards Silver jeans, they get points for style and comfort. My favorite pair at the moment is the Silver “Toni”. They are a lowrise, slim bootcut, and the wash is comparable to Rockin Republic.
Are there any petite lines that you carry: Mavi and Silver jeans are offered in petite lengths, Mavi comes in a 30″ inseam, and Silver in a 31″

Do you have to alter your jeans?:
Almost always! Even the 31″ Silvers, are a little too long, so I usually get a Euro-hem done. This means they take off the original hem, shorten the pant and then put the original hem back on. It’s a little more expensive then a regular hem but worth every penny! With the euro-hem you cant tell that the pant has been altered at all. For those girls who don’t like to get their pants hemmed, cuffing is always an option. Just try to stick to a straighter leg when cuffing, it will stay up easier, and look more tailored. Cuffing flares just looks sloppy and pants usually end up dragging.

What’s going to be super hot for Spring?:
Skinny jeans aren’t going anywhere, but for those girls who don’t quite like super skinny’s can try the Guess “Daredevil”, Mavi “Olivia” or the Silver “Toni”. Deep blue washes with a contrasting white fade is hot right now, and I’m seeing a lot of grey washes as well. Be daring and try the grey, it will go with a lot more colours than you think!
