Long Necklaces Create Virtual Inches

Long necklaces flatter petite fashionistas because they create a long vertical line, which make us look taller.

Look for a single strand necklace or smaller multi-strands.

I never realized Vanessa was sooo petite! Yeah, another petite celeb to look to for fashion inspiration.

I always thought it made me look smaller. Especially if it has very large beads. More or less I thought it gave the same impression as when a petite lady has on a dress that’s too big for her: little girl trying on mummy’s clothes. Only in this case it’s mummy’s jewellery. Does anyone else feel this way about it, or am I the only one?

    actaully i hv a question
petite girls with a good proportion of ur body scale, of coz u can still wear fab clothes as those models can
as its only u r choosing a smaller size for ur outfit
but i hv a long torso with a pair of short n chubby legs, what can i do then ?
as i can see vanessa hudgens has a longer pair of legs, she can maintain a good style of ensemble.
PLEASE help me with this!!! im so upset about this!!! coz i always look up to vanessa hudgens sense of fashion.

I never knew we could wear long necklaces…i thought it was only for the tall girls…

Also- is it possible to wear the leggings & long shirt/short dress look with high boots and a long necklace?

i’m suuuper petite and i find that long necklaces or v-necklines always elongate my look. however, it needs to be scaled down to size so that you don’t get that “little girl playing dress up” look. for example, if you were to try to wear a long necklace that would be long on an average or taller woman…well then it’d simply be too long for you! rather, try to aim for medium length necklaces (ones that would be medium on an average/taller woman) because then that would be considered a long necklace when you as a petite woman are wearing it! hope that helps and wasn’t too confusing to follow
