I’m heading your way for a mini vaca and I want to do some shopping!
What are some great shops that you love to shop at for the selection and fit?
What’s your favorite area or mall to shop?

You could think about hitting up the American Apparel warehouse for discounted basics like tee’s or turtleneck dresses for fall (if you’re prone to thinking ahead that way.)
Anchor Blue has some nice jeans that are inexpensive, and they have them in a short length (30″ inseam). They are the perfect length for high heels. And they will shrink up a little over time so if they are still too long even with heels (like they were for me), eventually they should be a good length. Granted, I got mine last year and haven’t been back to the store since (I live on the east coast; I was just visiting the west coast), so it’s possible they don’t have these anymore, but they are worth a look anyway. They are a chain, so you should be able to find them at different malls out there.
My favorite places to shop when I’m in LA are Century City and The Beverly Center. Century City is a wonderful outdoor mall in between Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. I will be interested in hearing what you end up finding in LA. Please share your favorite clothing and store finds. Happy shopping.
You’ve gotta hit up the boutiques! There are great shopping areas on Melrose, Robertson, and 3rd Street (near The Grove, not 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica). And you’re in luck because most of the stores in Beverly Hills (near Rodeo) are having Spring sales right now!
