Beach Cruisers and Riding Boots

My husband and I recently celebrated our second wedding anniversary so we decided to take a trip to the Washington Coast and visit one of my favorite places – Long Beach. As a kid I grew up spending summer vacations here (nineteen of them to be exact) but I hadn’t been back since. Not to my surprise, almost everything looked the same. The town was still just as quirky and cute, the ocean just as beautiful and the sand just as soft.

We stayed at a wonderful place called The Inn At Discovery Coast. We had happy hour at their restaurant called The Pickled Fish (amazing) and dinner at The Depot Restaurant after sunset. We even took advantage of the complimentary beach cruisers and took a ride along the beach – in my riding boots. That’s normal right?
