Petite Models are the focus at the “Model Life” book party
Isobella Jade is known as the tiniest working model in New York City and is also an advocate for petite models. Jade has released a fashion illustrated graphic novel “Model Life: The Journey of a Pint-Size Fashion Warrior.”
Long before Tyra Banks allowed itty-bitty models on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 13this fall, Isobella was advocating about being a height challenged model. Known as the go-to-girl for modeling tips, she speaks weekly on her popular podcast radio show Model Talk on Blogtalkradio.com, daily on her blog http://Petitemodelingtips.blogspot.com, and often through video guides. Isobella’s memoir Almost 5’4″ is also about her experiences as a shorter-than-average model.
This Thursday in SoHo in NYC, at the “Model Life” book launch party, 5 petite models will be shoe modeling during a live photo-shoot to co-side the signing, proving height isn’t everything in modeling.
Tonight on Isobella’s radio show, at 9pm EST, Model Talk the petite shoe models will speak out about being petite, and striving in an industry focused on the tall, and how the shorter-than-average model can beat the odds.
