Q. Can you give us size 4 shoe gals any new new new tips on places to buy shoes besides shoemall and zappos? Or, hints on what children’s sizes work for a 4.0 or 4.5 shoe size? I love your site, just found it. It is wonderful.

“Character shoes” are offered ast this website, in sizes all the way
down to 3 and 1/2 (in medium width), 4 & 1/2 for narrow width. If
you’re not familiar with this type of shoe, they’re usually pretty
good for dancing (swing dancing etc), comfortable to walk around in.

If you want to actually look at the shoes before you buy, Nordstrom
offers a selection in size 4.
In Children’s sizes you should be either 2, 2.5 or 3 depending on the brand.

If you happen to live close to Pittsburgh then I’d suggest checking out Little’s Shoes in Squirrel Hill. They’ve been around for a million years and they carry down to size 4.
Also, don’t be fooled by Cinderella of “Boston”! Turns out they have a retail store in Westminster, CA! I’m definitely going to try them out if I get by that area again. I hate paying shipping costs and then having to return the shoes. That’s why Zappos rocks.
