Urban Darling

For all you petite ladies in the San Francisco area, I have a women who I’d love for you to meet… the Urban Darling, Corrine Phipps. She is everything the words Urban Darling embody.

If you’re in need of a wardrobe re-vamp, a little personal shopping or maybe it’s your friend, sister, mother or even the man in your life who needs a little help.

Corrine will work miracles with the worst fashion victim or the most clueless anti fashionista.

It’s always a pleasure getting to know her better and this interview was no different. So, let’s get to it!

PF: When and how did you start your company?

A native San Franciscan who moved to the South Bay, discovering that style, had indeed not gone South, as she had. So, this Urban Darling set to rolling up her sleeves, vowing to bring style to the South Bay, one person at a time. And guess what folks, she’s doing it!

PF: Who’s behind Urban Darling?
Corinne Phipps, solo!

PF: Are you petite? If so, how “tall”?
Petite, 5’1″

PF: Which of your services do you recommend to PF readers?
Ohh, if you are local, invest in a Shopping Trip with me…otherwise join my Urban Darling newsletter for tips on looking fashionable.

PF: Can you offer any tips and advice for personal style or dressing the petite woman?
YES, it is absolutely ok to buy clothing that is a little big, if you have a good seamstress (I am lucky, my mother is one) that can adjust your clothes.

PF: What are some exciting happenings for the readers to take advantage of or look forward to?
I am working very closely with a number of up and coming designers for Urban Darling Exclusives. Please add yourself to the mailing list at www.urbandarling.com

PF: What else can you tell me about you?

I am a serious wardrobe treasure hunter. I love it!

This personal shopper idea is great, but like all of us is it someting the average person can afford. I look in my closet and I think i have wasted a lot of money on bad choices,?
