What Waist?

A reader from Chicago wants to know how to define “Natural Waist” & “Low-Rise” when looking at a pants or jeans online.

It’s quite easy, just look at the measurement of the “RISE” when ordering. Anything 7″ and under is a “Low Rise”, 8-9″ is “Just below natural waist”, around 9-10″ is “Natural Waist” and anything above that is High Waisted.

Don’t worry about what they call it, just look at the rise and get out your measureing tape. Measure from crotch towards the navel up to the amount of the rise.
